About Dr Vanessa John

Dr. Vanessa John is a dedicated prosthetist and orthotist with a master’s and bachelor’s in prosthetics and orthotics from Mobility India Rehabilitation Research & Training Centre under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The International Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO CAT 1), Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), and WHO-certified WSTP have accredited her. She trained at various prosthetic and orthotic service provision centers in Bengaluru. Her expertise spans assistive technology, prosthetic and orthotic service provision, spinal orthotics, assistive devices, rehabilitation, research, and innovative solutions. Dr. John’s research includes a master’s thesis on a standardized scoliosis assessment protocol and a bachelor’s project designing an adaptive wrist-hand orthosis, bridging clinical practice with research for patient-centered rehabilitation.
